According to the director, the film is a light-hearted comedy entertainer that sets in the backdrop of Goa.
The story revolves around five people who are enjoying their life in Kochi. Indrajith Sukumaran plays a creative ad director; Remya Nambeesan as Veena plays a trained dancer; Nivin Pauly plays a waiter at a cafe; Prathap Pothen plays a psychologist; and Lena Abhilash plays the head of a corporation.
The basic story of the movie revolves around P.K. Jayan aka ‘Vattu’ Jayan (played by Indrajith) and Roy Joseph aka Che Guevera Roy (played by Murali Gopy). Vattu Jayan is a corrupt cop who manages his daily necessities through bribed money and does not touch his salary for anything. Che Guevara Roy is an ex-communist comrade who now teaches in a school with his wife.
In God’s own country, the supreme leader of the ruling party dies, leaving a huge vacuum, not only in the electoral and leadership sphere of the party but also that of the state. In the inevitable succession squabble and the power struggle that ensues, the thin line that separates good and bad becomes irrecoverably blurred and out of this seemingly endless mayhem, emerge forces that are hitherto unheard of.
